Vivalon held a holiday lunch on Thursday — the first seasonal celebration at the nonprofit’s new Healthy Aging Campus in downtown San Rafael.

The $57 million facility at Third and Brooks streets, which opened this year, holds a medical clinic run by Marin Community Clinics, exercise rooms, classrooms, an auditorium and a cafe. The top four floors provide studio and one-bedroom apartments for 66 residents.

The 70-year-old nonprofit assists seniors and those with disabilities. It emphasizes healthy living and aging in place.
