DESCRIPTION
Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church is a master plan for the expansion and renovation of an existing facility dating from 1966. The plan calls for the expansion of the existing 4,400 square feet of worship and classroom space with a new 5,000 square foot worship space, the renovation of the existing worship space into an Interfaith Spirituality Center, and exterior improvements such as a children’s play area and courtyard spaces. The project will also include renovation and expansion of the classroom and education facilities.
Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church is the culmination of the Master Plan process, working closely with St. Annes’ building committee to design a 4,800 s.f. building incorporating worship space, vesting and alter guild, library and Narthex as well as support spaces. The building extends into the landscape with large patios and trellised walks connecting existing buildings and creating a landscaped forecourt. The building siting creates an assemblage of structures while framing views to hills and existing heritage oak trees.
