Congratulations to the 180 Jones team as they achieved Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) on Friday!
“The San Francisco building code permits building officials to issue TCOs prior to completion of all work covered by the permit, provided it is found safe for occupancy (2013 SFBC-Section 109A.4). It is issued only when incidental construction, such as site and interior work not regulated by the code or exterior decoration not necessary to the integrity of the building, remain. ” – SFDBI
Special recognition goes to Cahill Contractors who achieved this certificate on time due to their exceptional coordination, dedication, and attention to detail.
The nine-story residential infill at 180 Jones Street in San Francisco’s Tenderloin replaced a surface parking lot with 70 units of affordable housing. Construction continues at the main entry and what will become the intimate, second floor landscaped courtyard.
